1951 Campus Crusade for Christ:
Bill Bright, a young businessman from Oklahoma, and his wife Vonette, establish Campus Crusade at UCLA. Their vision is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 19-20) in this generation, starting with the university because of its influence and its strategic role in preparing the world’s future leaders.
1966-1980 Professor involvement:
Several Christian professors on associate staff with Campus Crusade begin working together to share the gospel with their colleagues and students. In 1970 Campus Crusade for Christ hosts a faculty conference at Arrowhead Springs involving Christian professors.
